KELLY STABLES, Coroner Karen Bolding

(Evil Samara of The Ring films) One of the most frightening ghosts this decade is Samara, the vengeful girl of The Ring. Instead of scaring us now, Stables will charm us with her good looks.
Kelly Stables catapulted onto the big screen to terrify audiences in DreamWorks’ The Ring 2 as ‘Samara,’ the monstrous incarnation of a murdered little girl.  The film was the successful sequel to 2002’s The Ring, from which legendary make-up artist Rick Baker discovered Kelly.  The countless layers of make-up required to create the horrific "Samara" took Mr. Baker and his team 5 1/2 hours to apply, and this transformation helped Kelly perfectly embody this evil character.

Kelly's youthful voice won her the role of ‘Will’ on ABC Family Channel’s animated popular series “W.I.T.C.H.,” which will soon premiere its second season of exciting adventures.  She also held the lead role of ‘Lydia’ in the independent film, Pride & Prejudice, currently airing on SHOWTIME, HBO, & Starz.  In addition, she has carried supporting roles in Universal Home Entertainment’s Bring It On Again and Buena Vista Pictures’ The Haunted Mansion. Kelly also flew to London, where she starred in the British film, Telling Lies.
In this film, she played a seemingly normal but punky American girl with a secret past, who’s out for vengeance.

This year Kelly has stayed active exploring interesting roles by starring in three very different genre films. Horror audiences can be thrilled again by watching Kelly in the scary pic’ "Furnace."  In this film, Kelly investigates brutal murders with the help of co-star Michael Paré. If you want laugh-out-loud funny, Kelly provides plenty of side-splitting moments as she revisits her college days in the hilarious improv comedy "The Homecoming."
Finally, this summer Kelly endures family fun and dysfunction in the Christmas dramedy film, "Together Again for the First Time", co-starring with screen legend Patty Duke and TV heartthrob Joseph Lawrence.

In addition to her on-screen work, Kelly maintains a presence in local Los Angeles theatre, having starred as ‘Marion Davies’ in the world premiere musical “W.R. and Daisy” at Theatre West, and as ‘Wendy’ in the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera’s production of “Peter Pan.” She has held the title role in five of Lloyd Schwartz’s Storybook Theatre musical productions, which will soon be available on video.  Kelly also just finished appearing on stage for the second year in a row for the Young Playwright's Festival at The Blank Theatre.

Kelly is an avid baseball fan and sustains an undying devotion to her St. Louis Cardinals. She is also active in teaching children through her local Church and is interested in aiding the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Kelly currently resides in Los Angeles.
